# Design Registry

> The Spanish design source of truth. Everything else in /docs — the constitution amendment, the standards, the ADRs, the specs — cites the DEC- ids defined here.

| Document | Role |
| ----------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| [`decision-registry-v1.md`](/design/decision-registry-v1) | \~45 closed decisions (DEC-A1 … DEC-J4) from the 50-question round. **This is what documents cite.** |
| [`documentation-plan-v1.md`](/design/documentation-plan-v1) | The nine generation batches, their dependencies, and closing criteria per batch |
| [`open-questions-v1.md`](/design/open-questions-v1) | **Every open question blocking a spec from `approved`**, each with a recommendation, in batch-answerable form |

These two supersede the v0.1–v0.3 drafts, which remain design narrative and are not part of this
repository.

## Real pending items

| Id | Item | Blocks |

| P-1 | ~~G1-Engage target date~~ → **closed: 2026-11-01** | — |
| P-2 | Lawyer for the legal package review | publishing anything in [`../legal/`](/legal/overview) |
| P-3 | Unit prices per metric | nothing — commercial exercise; ADR-016 defines the framework |

## Amending a decision

A `DEC-*` is closed. If reality changes one, do not edit it in place: write an ADR that
supersedes it, state which DEC it changes and why, and update every document that cites it in the
same change. Silent edits break the traceability the whole system depends on.
